Develop, implement and/or enhance recruitment initiatives within assigned territory that align with enrollment goals. Work in collaboration and cooperation with all departments, all campuses, and academic divisions. Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field.</li>
<li>Provide students with the fundamental theories, principles, experiments and real-world experiences in Telecommunications. Telecommunications first trimester incorporates several certifications built on recognized industry standards in the study of copper and fiber optic-based systems, along with telephony and cabling to prepare students to sit for C-TECH certifications. The second trimester concentrates on hardware, windows, MAC, and Linux, storage, networking, mobile devices, system management, implementation and file management utilizing Test-out to prepare students for CompTIA A+ certification. During the last trimester students study satellite fundamentals, residential electrical systems, audio-video, and security-surveillance with practical applications to prepare for SBCA and ETA STS certifications.</li>
<li>Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual student progress; assist with maintaining student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates.</li>
<li>Maintain good public relations with business and industry, assist with advisory committee and cooperate with outside agencies.</li>
<li>This position may also supervise and follow up on students participating in cooperative education.</li>

      Telecommunications Faculty
    

This regular, full-time position is responsible for the overall supervision and operation of the women’s soccer program. The position reports to the Athletic Director in the Division of External Affairs. This position will participate in regular fundraising activities for the women’s soccer program and athletic department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for complying with the rules and regulations of the NJCAA and TCCAA as they relate to the women’s soccer program.</li>
<li>Responsible for coordinating student-athlete recruitment activities for the women’s soccer team including, but not limited to, tracking the admissions and eligibility process involving recruited student-athletes.</li>
<li>Responsible for scheduling and supervising all practices and games and submitting statistics to the TCCAA, Region VII, and NJCAA national offices.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Make travel arrangements for the women’s soccer team and reserve DSCC vehicles as early as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Encourage academic success, retention, and graduation of student-athletes. Responsible for monitoring and supporting the student-athletes’ academic progress through monitoring study hall hours, obtaining feedback from faculty, and promoting graduation.</li>

Working independently, but under the direction of the Lead Facilities Support Associate 6 and supervision of the Vice President of Operations, this position is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment; ensuring facilities meet environmental, health and safety standards; performing tasks related to facility and grounds upkeep; assisting in maintaining mechanical and electrical systems or performing equipment maintenance; assisting with moving furniture or other large items; assisting with setting up for events; performing landscaping and mowing tasks, and other duties as assigned. This position will also be expected to serve as back-up to custodial personnel during their absence. Some travel and work at satellite campuses may be required. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Faculty Service

Professional Development (Teaching and Discipline)
Participate in professional development. Other objective to be agreed upon by faculty members and immediate supervisors in the development of personal, departmental, and divisional objectives.
JOB STANDARDS:
A. All full-time and part-time faculty must have completed at least 18 graduate semester hours in their teaching field and hold a master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college/university.
B. Endorsed with appropriate credentials of an unencumbered RN licensure in the State of Tennessee, American Heart Association CPR certification for healthcare professionals, advanced preparation and experience in a nursing practice specialty area.
CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE/EXPERIENCE:
A.&nbsp;One-year teaching experience in a pre-licensure program&nbsp;required.
B.&nbsp;Three years' related work experience as&nbsp;an RN preferred.
C.&nbsp;Acute Care Clinical Experience (within the past 3 years) preferred.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Advising, the Next Steps Advisor will work with a statewide team to implement the Tennessee Coaching Project. They are responsible for monitoring, advising, registering, and coaching a caseload of adult students through their first year of enrollment at the college. Job Duties
• Monitor, coach, and advise an assigned caseload of adult students through their first year of enrollment at the college, either in-person or by email, telephone, Zoom, or other digital or virtual communications.
• Provide registration assistance to students.
• Provide transfer advising to students interested in transferring to a 4-year institution.
• Assist students in the development of academic degree plans to promote retention, persistence to graduation, and degree completion.

• Facilitate referrals of students to resources throughout the institution and the community to promote student success.

• In partnership with Northeast State’s Research, Analytics, and Planning Office, collect and submit data for the Tennessee Coaching Project

The primary function of the Coordinator of Special Programs for Correctional Education is to coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of college programs in the carceral spaces across the state on behalf of TBR and its institutions. This position is a result of the Governor’s Correctional Education Investment which aims to provide educational opportunities to those incarcerated in Tennessee prisons. The initiative has expanded to nine (9) prison facilities operated by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and specifically implement courses provided by the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology and Community Colleges and is continuing to work with other prison facilities managed by private business as well as federal prisons and jails across the state of Tennessee. To support this initiative, the Coordinator of Special Programs for Correctional Education will facilitate TBR’s efforts in implementing higher education programming across multiple Tennessee correctional facilities. The position will work with institutions, TDOC, THEI, and THEC to implement provisions of the Correctional Education Investment Initiative. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges at the employee’s expense. 
Job Duties

<li>75% - Establish and coordinate community college and technical college programs at TDOC and DCS facilities across the state based on evaluation of workforce needs and using best judgement in consultation with institutions and local industries. This includes an audit of TDOC’s existing postsecondary programming to determine revisions that would meet credential requirements. Support planning and coordination of program development. Provide administrative support as needed. Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures. Ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Use independent judgement to determine and implement programmatic changes including but not limited to personnel, budgeting, program expansion, and facility expansion to increase participation and reach of the CEI program statewide. Create and maintain systemwide budgets for carceral programs at each participating institution based on funding from the governor’s office, and create, implement, and monitor contracts to grant state appropriations to system colleges. Coordinate between TBR, TDOC, and individual institutions to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that may arise in the delivery of educational programs in a carceral setting. Facilitate and coordinate the grant approval process and implementation of partnerships between county jails and TCATs to provide educational programs to residents incarcerated at municipal and county jails. Host and lead regular meetings with TDOC, THEI, colleges, and other involved parties to ensure consistency in approaches and procedures for both programs and institutions participating in the CEI project. - (Essential)</li>
