Job Summary

The College of Social Work (CoSW) is looking for a Program Manager (Placement Engagement Coordinator) to join our Field Education team.

The Placement Engagement Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining collaborative relationships with community agencies, social service organizations, and other stakeholders to secure and enhance practicum placement opportunities for social work students, including paid placements, as part of the college’s strategic partnership plan. The role focuses on fostering strong relationships with field partners, supporting both students and agencies, and ensuring that placements align with the educational objectives of the College. Additionally, the coordinator ensures support for partner agencies, including training, communication, and ongoing engagement.

  • proven experience in developing and maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders

  • ability to develop creative solutions for securing funding for paid placements
  • excellent communication and relationship building skills
