About the role:

Energy Solutions Sales Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate support to MLA sales teams and dealers for a wide range of energy solution products and programs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to our overall success of the department. You will play a pivotal role in expanding MLA's electric product lineup and battery portfolio.

What you will do:

  • Support Sales Teams, Dealers, and Customers: Act as the primary point of contact for MLA sales teams and dealers, addressing inquiries and providing detailed information about our energy solutions products and programs. Monitor and respond to emails sent to the Energy Solutions email address, ensuring timely and professional communication with sales and dealer staff. When emails contain technical or specialized questions, consult with electrification subject matter experts.
  • Order Management: Oversee the order management process, ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Energy Solutions Product Support: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product availability, pricing, and program details to ensure that all communications with sales teams and dealers are accurate and timely. Support quotes for energy solutions products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers and dealers.
  • Truck Sales Team Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with CMJ (Caterpillar, Mitsubishi and Jungheinrich)Unicarrier, and National Accounts sales teams to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify and Escalate Electrification Trends: Identify and escalate recurring topics uncovered during front line communication with sales staff. Work within Energy Solutions to develop process improvements. Implement improvements that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of support provided to sales teams and dealers.
  • Electrification Credit Management: Manage applications and recurring reporting for electrification credit programs, like the Low Carbon Fuel Standard credit program in California, on behalf of MLA customers.


When & Where:

In office setting Tuesday-Thursday. Work from home office Monday and Friday

Up to 25% travel.

What you need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience handling quote/sales process of physical product
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of initiative.


What would be nice to have:

  • Previous experience using a CRM system
  • Understanding of material handling or motive power industries
  • Previous experience in material handling quote/sales process

The salary for this position ranges from $67,978 to $82,011 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
