About us
We support working artists create, perform, and exhibit new works; develop new audiences; and connect the arts to community. Join us.
We are —- Leadership, staff, artists, and members who work together to engage new artists, invite artistic risk, provoke change, and move audiences;
- A thriving arts complex where we incubate a dynamic and eclectic mix of theatre, dance, music, visual arts, and art that defies categorization;
- Fertile ground for artists to experiment, create, exhibit, and perform;
- A vibrant and inclusive gathering place where diverse artists, mentors, patrons, and public engage to collaborate and generate cultural community.
From visual arts to theatre, arts administration to marketing, BCA’s internship program offers a variety of ways to get involved, and the opportunity to set individual goals, work on a wide-range of projects, and learn about the local arts community. There’s the added bonus of networking with artists and arts professionals while enjoying the vibrant South End neighborhood.
Volunteer OpportunitiesVolunteers play an integral role at BCA — from community members who pitch in during events like Open Studios, to the dozens of constituents who help the Boston Art Book Fair run smoothly.
