SUPERVISOR - Plant 10

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician position is accountable for: <ul><li>Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using cranes, hoists, chain falls, hand tools, and jacks.</li><li>Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements.</li><li>Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications.</li><li>Put machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair work. </li><li>Assists other maintenance team members in meeting department requirements while serving as a resource to production, engineering, and other plant personnel. Other individual maintenance craft knowledge considered a plus.</li><li>Work independently with little supervision.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.</li><li>Exhibit outstanding ability to learn and comprehend the fundamentals of the functioning machines.</li><li>Excellent general understanding of hydraulic systems with display of mastery in troubleshooting by utilizing deductive reasoning and schematics</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Organization Location:&nbsp;3960 S Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114 Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Ability to lift 40 pounds</li><li>Electrical controls awareness a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, blueprint reading, (welding and fabrication a plus) operation of machine tools used to make, modify and/or repair machine components.</li><li>Experienced and knowledge in maintaining and repairing&nbsp;injection presses.</li><li>3+ years previous manufacturing experience</li><li>Journeyman's Card is preferred</li><li>Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team</li></ul> While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Following all basic safety precautions will reduce risk of potential injury.
