Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize Microsoft Access and SQL views to develop, maintain and troubleshoot database applications.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Power Pivot to develop complex operational and business related metrics and reports to fulfil customer requests.
- Utilize Microsoft VBA to build and modify complex macros.
- Develop automation to allow users to upload and download data files into database applications.
- Work with management and subject matter experts to define project requirements.
- Develop reports that compile data into simple, understandable formats such as dashboards, tables, graphs, etc.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests and analysis.
- Provide end-user support for reports and applications.
- Identify opportunities to develop standardized reports for repeated data requests.
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships within the SSC.
- Develop working knowledge of current business processes.
Qualifications:
- Based in the DFW area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Logistics, Business or relevant field of study and 5+ year’s data analytics experience or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills and experience.
- Demonstrated ability writing complex Excel macros utilizing formulas and VBA code.
- Demonstrated ability writing advanced Access queries utilizing SQL.
- Demonstrated ability developing and maintaining complex database applications.
- Demonstrated ability to perform technology-based data mining and analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Snowflake experience a plus.
- Automotive and accounting experience a plus.
