Job Summary
DESCRIPTION
This position is being posted for the spring semester and won’t begin working until January 2025.
Work under the College of Education’s Office of Student Success to implement the best possible recruiting and retention strategies for the success of each student.
JOB DUTIES
Communication
- Graphically (designing graphics, taking and editing photographs)
- Speaking (phone calls, face-to-face meetings, presentations)
Event Management
- help organize various events around the college
- help create posters and other creative materials for advertising events
Various Recruitment Duties
- work with the Director of Recruiting in consulting with departments in the college to develop recruitment materials
- assist other student workers with prospective student visits
Other
- continue to build and improve relationships with other colleges and offices around UK
- work well in a team environment, but also independently
- be accepting of feedback from individuals in the college for best results
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3.2 GPA
- Computer skills
- Great communication skills
- Critical thinking and creative personality
