Physical Requirements

Requires heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds. Also requires some repetitive motion tasks.



Shift

Day shift. Monday through Friday. Varying start time according to departmental needs.



Job Summary

This position provides clinical support and patient care functions alongside the Nuc Med staff at Chandler Hospital.

This employee will assist with facilitating patient throughput in the department by performing functions such as preparing patients for their exam, room turnover, answering phones, cleaning, transporting patients, stocking supplies, interacting with the RIS system, and assisting with patient transfers.

This position will also be responsible for rounding throughout the department to ensure cleanliness and appropriate patient communication.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Excel, customer service skills, willingness to learn, phlebotomy. Attention to detail, accuracy, computer literacy, sensitivity to patient privacy, healthcare or medical office experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

Equivalent of a High School diploma plus BLS certification (within 90 days of hire) and more than 2 years healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
