Job Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service and maintains HIPAA Standards.
- Provides nursing services in a clinical setting and, in the community
- Obtains health histories, vital signs, weight, and height
- Performs venipuncture and collection of other lab specimens as ordered by providers (i.e., urinalysis, pregnancy test, glucose, hemoglobin)
- Administers immunizations
- Provides appropriate health and nutrition education
- Maintains CPR Certification
- Provides exceptional customer service and maintains HIPAA Standards.
- Responds to Public Health Emergencies
Minimum Qualifications
Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. (Please mail or bring a copy of your college transcript or diploma for the interview—you must have an official transcript prior to the start date). Physical Requirement(s): Occasional lifting of up to 45 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions (GRITS)
- Experience planning and organizing projects
- Previous employment with any state’s Department of Public Health or a County Board of Health
- Experience working with electronic medical records
- Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish and English)

This position may require driving company vehicles (Valid driver’s license required) and working some evenings and weekends during special events such as health fairs and responding to disasters.
