The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.
Shift
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedules as needed
Job Summary
The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, skilled assessments, patient calls, follow-up on tests/results, preop planning, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions.
This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.
