Join our team as a Mental Health Worker in our Intensive Community Support-Respite program, dedicated to supporting adults referred to by the Department of Mental Health. This program provides essential stability for individuals who have lost housing, require increased support, or are transitioning from hospital settings back into the community. Our six bed residential unit fosters a supportive environment where clients can connect with resources and services aimed at achieving independent living. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Implementing Individual Treatment Plans:Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized treatment plans for residents. 
  • Facilitating Activities:Lead recreational, therapeutic, and coping activities to promote well-being and engagement. 
  • Supporting Healthy Living:Assist residents in developing and maintaining proper diet and daily living skills. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and data collection as required. 

Located in Weymouth, MA

Schedule: 

Sunday - Thursday, 3pm – 11pm (40 hours per week) 

Hourly Rate: 

$17.50/hr plus $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Required Skills

  • Must demonstrate the following characteristics: flexible, team player, ability to grow and learn in the position, ability to provide support and quality care
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, work independently, and use good judgment
  • Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred

Required Experience

  • Prior experience working with adults in an acute mental health setting
  • Medication Administration Program (MAP) and CPR/First Aid certifications requiredwithin six (6) months of employment date
  • Requires valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to personal vehicle for consumer transportation
  • BA/BS in Psychology or a related field strongly preferred
