Role Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a sales enablement partner within the Marketing and Brand Organization with the primary responsibility of assisting in the development and execution of sales programs, and marketing initiatives.  The key responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator is to collaborate with key internal and external business partners to create and maintain sales and marketing communications and resources.  This role reports to the Director, Sales Enablement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and update of various marketing resources by partnering with both internal and external business partners
  • Write and edit marketing materials, articles, blog posts, and newsletters
  • Create and collect content that will be published in our weekly and monthly newsletters
  • Proactively manage an editorial calendar to ensure content is relevant based on the time of year, and key initiatives within the company and industry.
  • Partner with departments to develop, update, and maintain a training calendar.
  • Analyze and report out views and trends on all published content
  • Proactively connect with various business partners to identify and understand any upcoming changes, updates, or trainings that need to be communicate
  • Stay aware of current industry trends to ensure content is relevant and timely
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field
  • 0-2 years of marketing experience
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite; proclivity to work within and maximize use of various technology and communication platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with precise attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and collaborate effectively with a team while fostering a positive work environment
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously on deadlines

This position currently offers an onsite hybrid work schedule, with the expectation that you are in the office three days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical experience with WordPress marketing, automation and email platform and MailChimp marketing, automation and email platform

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position.  National Life offers a competitive total rewards package which includes: a 401(k) retirement plan match; medical, dental, and vision insurance; a company funded wellness account for director and below employees; 10 paid holidays; a generous paid time off plan (22 days of combined time-off for non-exempt employees and exempt employees have discretion in managing their time, including scheduling time off in the normal course of business, but in no event will exempt employees receive less sick time than required by state or local law); 6 weeks of paid parental leave; and 6 weeks of paid family leave after a year of full-time employment.
