Job Summary\:

To plan, manage, coordinate and supervise the activities, employees and physicians in the Cardiovascular Service Line of PAMF. Responsible for leading assigned departments to meet organizational goals, dashboard initiatives, standard work initiatives, patient satisfaction, quality, safety and compliance. Responsible for staff training, development and annual evaluations.

Responsibilities\: Develops, implements and analyzes annual department goals and action plans in alignment w/Organizational Goals. Knowledge and interpretation of Dashboard metrics (P4P, Access, Patient Satisfaction, RVU goals, budget targets) to develop goals and action plans. Interviews, hires, mentors and evaluates employees. When necessary, will counsel employees and initiate disciplinary action and/or termination as needed. Will provide staff training for procedure and processes to perform the job safely and competently. Ensures employees work within scope of practice and follow all policies and procedures set forth by the organization.  Responsible for timecards, timely Healthstream compliance, staff maintenance of licensure and certification. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining budgets monthly and interpreting reports to capture variances. Complete annual budgets for department wages and salaries. Includes annual capital and medical requests. Assure prompt and appropriate response to any and all patient, provider and/or employee concerns. Action should contribute to continuous improvement of provider, patient and employee satisfaction indicators. Works closely with Physician Site Leaders and other members of the management team using Daily Engagement Systems to lead, manage and establish key measurements. Sets standards and develops goals to continuously meet or exceed standard. Perform other duties and responsibilities are assigned, accepting change and flexible workloads as needed. Leads department meetings as needed. Attends all assigned meetings with participates in PAMF initiatives.  


 REQUIREMENTS\: Valid clinical license/certification, RN license preferred.  A minimum of one year management experience, with a demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct the activities of personnel and projects


  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Communicates well with staff and higher level management; works well with all levels of physician leadership and administration
