WHAT YOU'LL DO EACH DAY:

Respond to production problems and take appropriate corrective action. Make necessary mechanical adjustments.

Complete required paperwork and quality tasks.

Operate other packaging machines by stocking supplies for semi-automated equipment based on production schedule.

Maintain work area and equipment according to the highest GMP’s, SOP’s, and safety standards.

Be a positive team member with emphasis on teamwork spanning all work shifts

Continually strive for improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.

Work with minimum supervision; must be responsible and able to timely initiate appropriate work activities.

Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.

THINGS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Shift Hours 
11:00 pm to 7:15 am,  Sunday through Thursday (Off Friday & Saturday)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude/skills
  • Ability to lift 15-50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Ability to be on your feet for shift
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, averaging and percentages)
  • Must be quality and customer service oriented
  • Ability to meet attendance guidelines and work additional hours/OT as needed
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company

Compensation and Benefits:

  • New starting wage is $21.00 / hour (commensurate with experience and location). *Note that rate could change based on shift schedule.
