Job Summary

The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position to begin January 1, 2025. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years.The successful candidate will have experience teaching at the undergraduate level and be committed to teaching excellence. Duties include teaching courses in general chemistry with possible opportunities for analytical or organic chemistry during the academic school year. This position also allows for 10% of effort for service to the department, profession or community at large.



A PhD in Chemistry or related field is required.
