LMI is seeking a skilled Human Capital Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) for hybrid (in-person and remote) work.

Responsibilities

In this role the candidate will be required to perform the following:

  • Perform Workforce analytics, Employee and Customer Experience analytics, survey and Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) analysis, and the design of associated dashboards at the confluence of transformation efforts and future workforce strategy initiatives (driving retention, productivity, employee pay and process efficiency decisions)
  • Advise the formulation of KPIs and KRIs at a strategic level
  • Lead dashboarding and human capital trending visualizations for senior government leaders and work closely with design specialists to optimize and harden data depictions to drive efficient decision-making on behalf of Enterprise and matrixed organizations
  • Work with SME Data Scientist(s) to analyze unstructured and semi-structured data, including latent semantic indexing (LSI), entity identification and tagging, complex event processing (CEP), and the application of analysis algorithms on distributed, clustered, and cloud-based high-performance infrastructures.
  • Exercises creativity in applying non-traditional approaches to large-scale analysis of unstructured data in support of high-value use cases through multi-dimensional interfaces.
  • Has the ability to utilize advance tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and process improvement decisions
  • Present Human Capital and Analytics information to Senior Government Leaders in a clear and compelling way to drive meaningful change within the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related business or quantitative discipline with 18 years of experience or Masters degree and 10 years of experience.
  • Experience creating meaningful data visualizations and interactive dashboards using platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, RShiny, plotly, and/or d3.js to
  • Working proficiency with programming languages such as Python (Pyspark, Pandas) SQL, R or similar languages.
  • Communicate findings and relate them back to how your insights create business impact.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL; preferred qualifications include linking analytic and data visualization products to database connections.
  • A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams of technical, non-technical individuals, and program management professionals.
  • Skill and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with transformational program efforts at the Human Resources Enterprise levels inclusive of deep and regular engagement with workforce and talent management strategists as well as senior organizational leaders
  • A mature and professional level of knowledge from practical year-over-year analytic work with data aggregation methods and analysis from Enterprise HR and IT Systems (such as Workday, PeopleSoft, UKG, or similar systems)
  • Experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, and data clustering
  • Regular work and coaching of junior People Analytics professionals to meet program milestones and deadlines
  • Adept at Scrum and Kanban management of projects
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile Product Management (or similar) certification
  • Federal Government Consulting experience
