Job Summary

The position reports directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Business and Finance who leads the following departments: Accounting, Auxiliary Enterprises, Budget and Business Services, Financial Aid, Institutional Grants, Media Services, Plant and Maintenance, Public Safety and Purchasing.



The incumbent provides executive level administrative support to the Executive Vice President, handling confidential and sensitive information and issues; coordinating agendas and documents for Board committee meetings, and coordinating with the Board Secretary to prepare materials for monthly Board of Trustee meetings.



Works independently in other areas of responsibility including general office management, organizing divisional professional development and communications meetings; and assisting department heads with setting goals and periodic outcomes assessment, and tracking progress.


Provides general administrative support, as needed, to the Accounting and Media Services departments. Assists on an as-needed basis and performs various responsibilities in the absence of the Business Services Coordinator.



Qualifications - Education

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree



Qualifications - Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience for administrative/executive level management, preferably in a higher education setting.



Qualifications - Skills

Must be able to identify and anticipate the Executive Vice President’s needs, possess strong organizational and time-management skills, and work independently on projects in assigned areas. Able to communicate with a broad range of individuals across the campus community in a detail-oriented and professional demeanor, and with discretion while handling sensitive and confidential information. Must be proficient in using e-mail, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Ellucian, Adobe, video conferencing platforms, and the internet and be able to work with figures across all applications.



Work Hours

8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
