POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for stocking, cash register operation, and customer service at an Envision Base Store located on military bases; delivered merchandise orders to customers as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Answer customers’ questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection.
  • Work closely with customers to resolve any customer service-related issues.
  • Assist store management with price quotes as needed.
  • Help fellow cashier/stockers with questions, tasking’s, and overall assistance.
  • Help ensure safeguarding of store assets and inventory.
  • Maintain the Envision standard for exceptional customer service.
  • Operate cash register as needed, to total customer’s merchandise selection at checkout counter and collect payment for purchases.
  • Pack customer purchases in bags or cartons.
  • Assist customers in transporting large purchases to their vehicles.
  • Assist with maintaining the store and warehouse is in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Stock shelves, racks, and bins with merchandise.
  • Create displays that are visually appealing as well as maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
  • Assist with identifying and moving slow moving stock to clearance area.
  • Label products with barcode labels.
  • Assist with Delivering merchandise to outside customers, operating Envision delivery vehicle in a safe and respectful manner. Obtain delivery receipt signature.
  • Assist with loading trucks for shipment and unloading merchandise for receiving as needed using a Forklift and/or Pallet Jack.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience in retail sales and/or with warehouse functions preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Possess a good work attitude and a willingness to carry out instructions, and other duties as required, while working with all Envision employees as a team.
  • Proficient knowledge of customer service principles, including customer needs assessment and resolution, meeting quality service standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications.

  • Ability to project a professional image to the public.
  • Must possess organizational and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to drive a forklift/pallet lift and delivery vehicle, and maintain a current, valid state driver’s license and driving record.
  • Proficient knowledge of transportation DOT regulations and procedures.
  • Must possess organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.


Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current driver’s license and driving record in good standing.
  • Ability to successfully complete required DOT driver’s certification and successfully complete DOT physical and drug screen, per DOT regulations.
  • Must maintain a current forklift certification.
