Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Tuba/Euphonium to join our outstanding faculty in the UK School of Music for Fall 2025. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate applied tuba and euphonium; teach low brass methods; lead weekly studio class; direct the University of Kentucky Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble; and perform as a member of the University of Kentucky Faculty Brass Quintet. Additional teaching responsibilities may include courses in other areas of expertise as determined by the needs of the curricula and the qualifications of the successful candidate. The professor must sustain a successful recruitment/retention record, develop a diverse portfolio of creative/scholarly activities, and exhibit service contributions appropriate for a university faculty member.
