A minimum of 4 years or progressively independent experience in central nervous system metabolism research evident from publication or invention record. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be eligible to apply for NIH R21 or R01 grants.

Job Summary

The College of Medicine is currently seeking a strong researcher with experience in central nervous system metabolism to fill a full-time tenure-track position supporting our brain metabolism CoBRE. Duties include providing scientific and technical leadership in the management, design, and conduct of basic preclinical in vitro and in vivo neuroscience experiments in CNS metabolism research; preparing research articles and grant proposals for publication and funding; and participating in teaching, career development, and unit/college service activities. Must be NIH ESI or NI eligible.
