Admissions Operations Coordinator
Job Description:
The Admissions Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service, admissions department support, and completing general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. He/she may serve as the first point of contact for students, visitors, staff, and faculty and assist multiple departments.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting, directing, and maintaining relationships with students, visitors, staff, and faculty by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
- Serving as campus proctor
- Collecting payments and other miscellaneous fees for Financial Aid, Library Services, and other departments
- Supporting the Admissions department by fielding incoming calls, documenting recruitment leads in Salesforce, scanning, printing, and linking student documents in Perceptive Content, preparing admissions folders and additional marketing materials for prospective students, and creating reports in Salesforce including the daily applicant report
- Works closely with the admission operations and accounting departments (system office) to ensure proper linking of documents and advise of forms or payments made by students
- Reorder admission materials as needed
- Responsible for ad hoc projects and administrative tasks supporting the Office of the Campus President
- Handling other projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Admissions
Position Requirements
- Positive, student-focused mindset including excellent customer and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership for projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a comfort level of communicating with students and all levels of faculty and staff
- Strong customer service skills and ability work with different personalities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required, associate-level coursework or higher preferred.
- One to two years of customer service-related work experience required.
- Two to three years administrative assistant experience with document imaging experience and high call volume in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform sedentary work
- Ability to operate office equipment including computer, printers, and phone
- Ability to lift objects (up to 25 lbs.)
