Job Summary

Recruit prospective students and maintains a good relationship between the local schools and public.

Job Duties:

  • Attends college fairs, health fairs, festivals, high school sporting events, etc.

  • Registers new and returning students, prints schedules, and enter new applicants into PeopleSoft.

  • Sets up information table at high schools.

  • Sets up workshops at high schools.

  • Keeps information folders supplied to high school counselors.

  • Meets with individual student groups at high school level.

  • Sets up campus tours.

  • Sets up career fair for students on campus.

  • Schedule visits to schools, employers, workforce partners to make presentations on healthcare careers.

  • Recruit and enroll applicants into project.

  • Support student access to and completion of college application, advise on financial aid and WIOA training funds.

  • Present information on scholarships.

  • Create, host and coordinate on campus and in workplace healthcare career workshops.

  • Liaise with Workforce Project Manager to identify and recruit from workplaces for upskilling

  • Hand off recruited individuals to education coaches for ILP development and enrollment in college or workforce activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (related field) 

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years related experience, or equivalent

  • Problem Solving: Problems are different and unexpected. Suggests new solutions to the supervisor or others in handling unusual problems.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Functions in a lead capacity over others but is not a direct supervisor. May assign, schedule, and monitor the work of others.

  • Oversight and Direction: Receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor
  • Organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training
