Account Manager

Position Overview

If you are a customer-success-driven relationship manager of B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) clients with excellent interpersonal skills, technical chops, and a keen sense of urgency, we want to have a chat with you. You are self-motivated and pro-active, and have a deep understanding of your products as well as your customers. You excel in anticipating customer needs and staying ahead of customer issues, de-escalating when necessary, and maintaining a positive customer perception throughout. Your focus is on customer retention, but your value is in promoting customer growth while nurturing long lasting relationships.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle miscellaneous customer questions and issues.
  • Research and advance upsell and renewal opportunities.
  • Field, coordinate, and advance product requests.
  • Meet with clients to review performance and maintain relationships.
  • Manage contracts.
  • Net Retention Strategic Planning.
  • Create Quotes.
  • Proper use of Software ex. Salesforce.
  • Other related activities.
  • Creating / amending quotes in Salesforce and WordDoc for renewals, expansions, and upsells.
  • Through data input in Salesforce and Microsoft Word.
  • Invoice related items.
  • Working across departments.
  • Account Planning and Strategy planning with CSMs.
  • Meetings and communication throughout the day to problem solve and serve our clients to the best of our ability.
  • Customer calls.
  • Discovery calls, new client launches, troubleshooting, discussing additional products and services.
  • Following up with clients.
  • Setting tasks and reminders to follow up on previous communications to customers when trying to move certain processes along.
  • CRM Management.
  • Data input through Salesforce and pipeline management.

Desired Skills

  • 2-3 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: Customer Onboarding, Customer Success, Customer Support, Account Management, Revenue Retention.
  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • High aptitude for organization, multitasking and wearing many hats.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced, growth-intensive environment.
  • Aptitude for learning new products, understanding company value props, and communicating across the client-company value chain.
  • Data-driven - Skilled in measuring and reporting performance metrics against KPIs.
  • Parking or Transportation technology is a plus
